Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with every restoration. If something is off, we'll make it right within 7 days of delivery.
1. The 7-Day Window
You have 7 days from the date your restored images are delivered to request a remedy. After 7 days, orders are considered final and are non-refundable.
2. Your Choice: Reprocess or Credit
Within the 7-day window, you can choose:
- Reprocessing — we'll re-run your photo through the AI (often with tuned settings) at no extra cost.
- Account credit — equal to the amount paid for the affected image(s), applied to your Stories Restored account for future use.
3. How to Request a Remedy
Email hello@storiesrestored.com with:
- Your order ID (from your confirmation email).
- Which image(s) you'd like addressed.
- Whether you'd prefer reprocessing or a credit.
- A short note on what you'd like improved.
We typically reply within 1 business day.
4. What's Not Covered
- Requests made more than 7 days after delivery.
- Dissatisfaction with outcomes on severely damaged, extremely low-resolution, or otherwise unusable source images, where we flagged limitations at upload.
- Orders terminated for violations of our Terms of Service.
5. Chargebacks
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer, Lemon Squeezy handles the chargeback process on our behalf. We ask that you contact us first — we can usually resolve issues faster than a chargeback and without fees.
