DMCA & Copyright Policy

Last updated: 04/29/2026

Stories Restored respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512, we respond to valid takedown notices for content hosted on our service.

1. Designated Copyright Agent

Send DMCA notices to our designated agent:

Name: Tanner Kunz

Company: Stories Restored

Mailing address: 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801

Email: hello@storiesrestored.com

2. Submitting a Takedown Notice

To be effective, your notice must be in writing and include:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or person authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works).
  • Identification of the allegedly infringing material and information reasonably sufficient for us to locate it (e.g., URL or order ID).
  • Your contact information — name, address, phone number, and email.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Incomplete notices may not be acted on. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing may subject you to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

3. Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed or disabled in error, you may submit a counter-notice containing:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that was removed and its prior location.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, phone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the district where you reside (or, if outside the U.S., in the district where Stories Restored is located), and that you will accept service of process from the party who submitted the original notice.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action seeking a restraining order against you.

4. Repeat Infringers

We may terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion.
